How to use a preschool visual routine checklist
Start with one routine
Choose morning, getting dressed, packing a backpack, or clean up. Keep only the steps that actually happen in your home or classroom.
Use familiar words
Edit the title and step wording so the checklist sounds like the language your child already hears. Short, concrete steps are easier to scan and check off.
Put the printout where it is used
Print the routine near the place it happens. Let the child follow the numbered order and mark each visible checkbox as the step is finished.

Does Prep & Pretend save or send my custom title and steps?
No. The custom title and step text you type stay in your browser and are used only to build the routine on your screen and printout. They are not sent to Prep & Pretend.
Can I print the routine or save it as a PDF?
Yes. Choose US Letter or A4, pick Roomy or Compact, then use Print / save as PDF. If your browser supports PDF output, choose Save as PDF in the print dialog.
Does this builder create picture-card schedules?
No. This tool focuses on a clean numbered routine checklist with editable text and visible checkboxes rather than a library of picture cards or uploaded photos.
